Are you the one who had a fridge full of magnets, and never to look at them again? Let me tell you, there is a better way to extend that feeling from your travel even when you are not travelling. All you got to do is to start, but here are some ideas.

2. Create a found object craft mementos [Click Here]. Don’t throw away the ticket stubs, matchbox, unique packaging or gallery flyer, stick it all on a piece of board and you can hang it on the wall.
3. Revisit the country by watching movies shot in Istanbul. Here are some of my personal recommendation that will tell you about turkey and Istanbul on a deeper level :

Hamam, 1997 (Ferzan Ozpetek)

A Touch of Spice, 2003 (Politiki Kouzina)

Mustang, 2015 (Deniz Gamze Erg├╝ven)

Winter Sleep, 2014 (Nuri Bilge Ceylan)

4. Tune in to the folk music of the country or the music that plays in your head while you travelling to Istanbul.
5. Cook up a turkish cuisine or go local turkish restaurant. In KL, you may go to Bosphorus in Pavillion, or Hadramawt in Bukit Bintang.
6. Find out about Turkish event in your local town. Ramadhan is a common time for some malls to have Turkish theme event. Or took the turkish theme loosely, i.e : Go enjoy the Islamic Art Museum (KL).
7. Decorate your home in turkish decor and how to do it. Here are some ideas on Pinterest [Click Here]
